Set in the heart of upper Swaledale in the lovely village of Low Row ‘Swale View Cottage’ overlooks the surrounding countryside and offers easy access to some great walks, cycling and the local villages of Reeth, Muker, Gunnerside, Hawes, Grinton, Fremington and Thwaite. Very dog friendly, bring as many as you like, even the muddy ones and they are free of charge!

Swale View is a three bedroom family friendly cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room with seating for eight and a multi fuel stove, a lounge with an inglenook fireplace and a garden with table and seating overlooking Swaledale.

We also have secure storage for bikes for those who like road or mountain biking, a really well equipped kitchen for when you want to dine in and games for the occasional lazy day spent in front of the two multi fuel fires. All bedding and towels are provided, free of charge of course, for the duration of your visit.

There is easy access to lots of great walks including the Swale Trail and Wainwright’s Coast to Coast but it’s even easier to avoid the crowds and just head off out of the house and find your way around including these suggested walks for you and if you bring them, dogs.

There are many great pubs and restaurants locally so check out our recommended places to eat and for vegetarian and vegans try these places.
